What Happened
Mike and Stuart (both members of Tampa Two Stroke Scooter Club) decided to meet up with fellow scooterists who were at a rally in St. Augustine and ride back with them. While attempting to meet up, Mike was involved in a very serious accident on his scooter. He was attempting to turn around when a van with a horse trailer that was behind him clipped him. He was wearing safety gear, which saved his life. He was air-lifted by helicopter to Orlando Regional Medical Center, a level one trauma center, where he is in intensive care.
